My day at the closing performance of Shigatsu Oh Kabuki matinee at Kabukiza. Kikugoro's brilliant performance across three roles, tears at Masaoka's "yo de kashatta," and the breathtaking Nikki Danjo on the hanamichi viewed from my favorite hanagai dobu seki.
