Hi, I’m COCOSKY. I live in a small city in the Kansai region of Japan.
Being solo isn’t something that just happened to me — I realized at some point that going alone was simply the most fun.
Before I knew it, I was happily sitting by myself at the Kabuki-za theater.
Once I have a destination, I look up routes on Google Maps and start mentally building my itinerary — “if I go here first, can I make it there next?” That planning process itself is already exciting, and honestly, I’m already pretty satisfied before I even leave the house (lol). Living outside Tokyo, every trip to the city feels like a little adventure. 🚶
From kabuki and castles to all the places that make my heart race — I’m out here walking toward them today, too. ⭐️

My solo visitor philosophy
The best seats, what to bring, restaurants nearby, places easy to enter alone — I hope this kind of information gives a little push to anyone who’s thinking “I’d love to try that, but I’m a bit nervous.”
