AccessAbout 10 minutes on foot from Kumamotojo / Shiyakusho-mae tram stop. A free shuttle bus connects Sakura-no-baba Josaien, the South Entrance, and Ninomaru Parking Lot.

Castle seals / stampsCastle seals are available at the Ninomaru and Honmaru rest areas. The Kumamoto Castle commemorative stamp plus the Japan 100 Famous Castles stamp are at the South ticket office and the North ticket office; the North office opens on weekends and holidays only.
