HoursKeep: Mar-Oct 9:00-17:00 / Nov-Feb 9:00-16:00. Castle hill gates: Mar-Oct 6:00-18:30 / Nov-Feb 6:00-17:00.
ClosedThe keep is open year-round, but may close temporarily in severe weather such as typhoons.
AccessAbout 15 minutes on foot from JR Uwajima Station, or about 35 minutes to the keep. The Kori family nagaya gate at the north entrance is under repair from March 2026 to March 2027; walking access remains available, but vehicles cannot enter.

Castle seals / stampsCastle seals are sold only at the keep. The Japan 100 Famous Castles stamp is inside the keep; visitors who cannot climb the hill may stamp at Shiroshita.
